Mr. Urbina leads the Environmental Law practice at Bertrand-Galindo Barrueto Barroilhet, where he provides a comprehensive regulatory advice to companies on across a broad range of matters, including project development, environmental permitting, socio-environmental litigation, environmental assessment procedures, inspections, enforcement proceedings, constitutional protection actions, environmental damage claims, regulatory emergencies, compliance audits, circular economy, climate change, human rights, and constitutional law affairs.

In the academic field, Mr. Urbina has built a distinguished career in Environmental Law and sustainability, serving as professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile Law School, where he is also the Director of its Corporate Sustainability Program. He also has prior experience in the public sector, having served at the Environmental Superintendence as both attorney and Chief of Staff (2010–2013).

Mr. Urbina has been recognized by Chambers and Partners (Band 4), Legal 500 (Leading Partner), and Best Lawyers, reflecting his standing as a leading practitioner in environmental law in Chile. His opinion is frequently sought by the national business press.
