Her practice focuses on engineering and construction, corporate and commercial law, public concessions and labor law.

Ms. Díez has worked as a prosecutor in important national and international companies, both in the public and private sectors, in commercial, corporate, concessions, engineering and construction and labor law matters.

She represented the private engineering sector before the Ministry of Public Works as a member of the Concessions Commission during the drafting and implementation of the Concessions Law and its Regulations. She has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating all types of contracts with the Ministry of Public Works and is an expert in public concessions.

Mr. Salinas is a lawyer and expert in Public International Law, with vast professional experience in legal advice and consultancy, both in the public and private spheres. Currently, Mr. Salinas is Director and Chief Coordinator of the Identification and Investigation Team (IIT) of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).

During his long diplomatic career, Mr. Salinas has been Ambassador of Chile to the Netherlands (2021-2022) and to the Organization of American States (1997-2002). In addition, he been a legal advisor in the defense of Chile before the International Court of Justice in the cases “Maritime Delimitation” (Peru v. Chile), “Obligation to Negotiate” (Bolivia v. Chile) and, recently, “Silala River” (Chile v. Bolivia).

In addition, Mr. Salinas was Director of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile (2010-2014) and, subsequently, Chairman and member of the Inter-American Juridical Committee of the OAS (2014-2018).

Mr. Salinas is a renowned Professor of International Law, and currently serves as Professor and Director of the Department of International Law at the Law School of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and as Professor of Public International Law at the University of Chile. [Mr. Salinas/Professor Salinas/Hernán] is also a faculty member of the Masters of Laws in International Law, Trade and Investment at the University of Heidelberg-University of Chile.

Mr. Salinas is a Member of the American Society of International Law, American Law Association and Instituto Hispano-Luso-Americano de Derecho Internacional, of the Chilean Society of International Law, and of the National Group of the Permanent Court of Arbitration. Mr. Salinas is also a member of the Board of the Center for International Studies of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile since 2022.

Mr. Bertrand-Galindo concentrates his professional practice in Corporate and Commercial Law, Contracts, M&A, Cross-Border Transactions, Foreign Investment, Project Development, Mining and Natural Resources, and Water Rights.

He has advised a broad range of local and foreign clients in his areas of expertise, participating in some of the most relevant legal matters occurred in the country in such fields.

Mr. Bertrand-Galindo has been professor of mining and energy projects development at the LL.M. program of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile Law School. He has also been a researcher at the Columbia Vale Center at Columbia University and has been involved in different academic activities at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile Law School. Mr. Bertrand-Galindo has made publications and participated in several lectures and seminars concerning mining law.
