Ms. Soria focuses her professional practice on Private International Law, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance), Corporate Compliance, and Corporate Law.
At Bertrand-Galindo Barrueto Barroilhet, she has advised local and international clients across various economic sectors, with particular emphasis on highly regulated industries and those with significant environmental impact. Her experience includes the design and implementation of regulatory compliance policies, the preparation of high-complexity technical reports on environmental, corporate, and ESG matters, as well as the analysis of risks related to internal regulatory breaches and non-compliance with international standards. She has also participated in judicial and arbitral proceedings at both national and international levels.
Ms. Soria has served as a teaching assistant in the Private International Law course at Universidad de Los Andes and has taught the same subject at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She has also been a teaching assistant in Natural Law at Universidad de Los Andes and holds a specialization in Environmental Law.

Ms. Salvatierra focuses her professional practice on ESG (Environment, Social, and Corporate Governance), Indigenous Law, Communities, Sustainability, Mining, Energy, and Natural Resources.
At Bertrand-Galindo Barrueto Barroilhet, she has advised a wide range of local and foreign clients from various economic sectors, mainly energy and mining, in the development of their projects in Chile. She has been involved in assessing and preparing reports regarding compliance with national and international ESG standards, as well as in the development and review of ESG policies. She has also participated in the preparation of environmental assessment instruments and provided advice in administrative sanctioning procedures, primarily in environmental and mining matters. Additionally, Ms. Salvatierra has provided guidance in community resettlement processes and negotiations of cooperation agreements with Indigenous communities. In the field of sustainability, she has provided counsel in establishing foundations and in the execution of real right of conservation contracts.

Previously, Ms. Bernier collaborated with the Program on Corporate Sustainability of the UC Faculty of Law investigating on the implementation of the UNGP on Business and Human Rights in Chilean private and public companies and participating as the research coordinator of the first and second Chilean annual Diagnostic. She has also been a teaching assistant in wide range of courses both at the UC School of Government and the UC Faculty of Law.

Ms. Errázuriz has concentrated her practice in the areas of Environmental, Compliance, Energy and Corporate Law.
At Bertrand-Galindo Barrueto Barroilhet, she has advised domestic and international clients from various economic sectors in the development of their projects in Chile. Her experience includes the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts, as well as assistance in environmental impact assessment processes, sanctioning procedures, and other related regulatory matters. She has also provided legal counsel on the various legal issues that have arisen during project interconnection processes, delivering strategic support to address technical, contractual, and regulatory challenges. Furthermore, she has been involved in the assessment and preparation of compliance reports concerning national and international ESG standards, as well as in the development and review of ESG policies, including the drafting of manuals, protocols, and internal regulations on various matters.

Mr. Barrueto concentrates his practice in Energy and Mining, Corporate and Commercial Law, M&A y Cross Border Transactions, Environmental Law and Sanctioning Proceedings, Project Development and Real Estate.
He has advised a broad range of local and foreign clients in his areas of expertise, participating in some of the most relevant legal matters occurred in the country in such fields. Likewise, Mr. Barrueto has extensive experience advising clients on issues related to the environmental assessment impact system, the Environmental Superintendence and the Environmental Courts.
Mr. Barrueto is one of the Chilean members of the Joint Public Advisory Committee (JPAC) of the Commission for Environmental Cooperation between Chile and Canada. He is also a professor of the course mining and energy projects development, at the LL.M. program of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile Law School. Mr. Barrueto is recognized in the Energy Area by the international publication Chambers & Partners.

Mr. Bertrand-Galindo concentrates his professional practice in International Law, ESG, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Corporate and Tax Compliance, Indigenous Law, Communities and Human Rights.
Mr. Bertrand-Galindo is the head of the international practice and the ESG departments at Bertrand-Galindo Barrueto Barroilhet and is also the co-head of the litigation and dispute resolution department at our firm. He was part of Chile’s Legal Team before The Hague International Court of Justice in the Maritime Dispute Case with Bolivia; and he has been a member of the Interamerican Judicial Committee of the Organization of American States. He has been legal advisor of the Presidency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, and the National Human Rights Institute in Chile.
He has advised in his areas of expertise a broad range of local and foreign clients, including states, international organizations, professional associations, and private corporations from various sectors of the economy including mining, energy, technology, the financial sector, and food industries. Mr. Bertrand-Galindo has been recognized as a Leading Lawyer in Chile in ESG by the Leading Lawyers Ranking, and has been awarded, together with the firm, with the Global Law Experts Annual Award in Dispute Resolution in 2023.
Mr. Bertrand-Galindo has been a professor of International Law and Conflicts of Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica. He has also lectured at the Diplomatic Academy, the Judicial Academy, Universidad Adolfo Ibañez, and has been a visiting researcher at Harvard Law School. He has made publications and participated in several local and international lectures and seminars concerning his practice areas. He is a member of the Chilean Society of Private International Law and the International Forum on ESG.
